Reheating these egg muffins is also uncomplicated. Just place them into the microwave. Use some butter and reheat until the muffins are warm, depending on your microwave it will take 30-45 seconds.

How long do egg muffins with last in the fridge?

You can keep those the bacon and egg muffins about four days in the fridge that is if they last that long. But it’s never been a problem in our home because they get eaten up quickly.

Ingredients

  • 6 Pieces Bacon strips
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1/2 Tsp Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Oregano
  • Chilli flakes
  • Butter
  • Bread

Instructions

  • Add some butter to the muffin tray and place those bread on it.

  • Place a slice of bacon into each muffin cup so that the bacon lines the edges of the cup. Repeat with remaining bacon.

  • Carefully crack the egg into each muffin cup so that it is in the middle of the bacon. Sprinkle with pepper, oregano, chilli flakes,chesse and salt. Repeat with remaining eggs.

  • Place muffin tin into preheated oven and bacon for about 20 minutes or until eggs or set.

Notes

1. Oil your muffin tin properly and use a good quality non-stick muffin tray.If in doubt, use parchment paper or cupcake liners to prevent sticking.
2. The muffins swell up while they cook in the oven. So fill them 3/4 of the way up to stop the overflow.
3. Bake until the fat begins to render from the bacon (it will bubble in the bottom of each cup) and the bacon begins to crisp and turn light brown on the top edges, 10 to 12 minutes.
4. Make sure that the muffins cool for about 10 minutes before attempting to remove them. Surround a plastic knife or spatula the inside walls of the muffin cups to help loosen them if needed.
